We do receive many enquiries from sole inventors or people who are convinced they have a good product idea.

If you are not familiar with the product design process and are not sure what is needed to get a product to market, we can help you.

We offer an independent and unbiased Firstpass assessment of your idea. This will give you information and sign posts for you to understand what is involved to convert your idea into a marketable product and for you to be able decide if the idea will work.

We will set out, stage by stage, a development process tailored to get your idea into production. And if we think there are flaws in how the idea might work or in how it relates to its market, then we will tell you. If the idea is strong, we will tell you how you can protect it. We will, also, give you a check list of questions to help you determine if the idea has good market potential.

Our Firstpass assessment can form a very useful part of your business plan to help you attract finance for your project. Your idea will be treated in strictest confidence, and speaking with us will not compromise any potential patent protection. We will sign a non-disclosure agreement to state that all information you share with us will be kept confidential and will remain in your ownership.

We are in the business of designing products for economic manufacture and do not have an interest in exploiting our clients ideas ourselves.
