Urease Test

The test detects the urease enzyme of Heliobacter pylori present in gastric mucosal biopsies, with a simple colour change to indicate the presence of the enzyme.

The test device is simple and quick to use and is a low cost pack design for a high value test.

For security of result, the test is done twice, with both tests built into the same device to reduce the chance of separate tests going astray. The lid seals the reconstituted test liquid, with an easy to open and close lid. The hydrating liquid bottle is stored in the underside of the pack, so that the doctor has all that they need to conduct the test.

The design is pragmatic, allowing the test to be conducted quickly, as well as, being efficient for manufacture, .
