Syringe Holder
The syringe holder is an efficient design for high volume production which allows diabetics to use the spare syringe cartridge in an ‘emergency' without the need for a dispensing pen.
The holder grips have a visual simplicity and elegance, as well as, being ergonomically comfortable.
The engaging and locking of the holder onto the syringe is intuitive, with no learnt behavior needed, necessary in an emergency.
It's all the detail. Clip features to lock the holder onto the glass syringe are created within the constraints of a simple open and closed mould tool. No side actions were needed which greatly reduced the cost of the 24 impression production tool. The grips are designed to cope with the wide tolerance of the glass syringe.
The design is very effective and has been in constant manufacture unchanged for 12 years.
