Atrium Chandelier

The atrium chandelier, for Next, is all about drama and effect.

It is used in Next's flagship store's as a focal point and visual draw in their entrance atriums.

Next tried out an original chandelier supplied from China, but the chandelier was shabby looking and of such poor quality that Next could not use them. We were asked to help, so came in and re-designed and engineered the chandelier from scratch, creating the design quality that Next needed.

The 1.5m diameter chandelier uses 36 lamps and 420 crystals to give a myriad of light points to create a highly dynamic effect. Customers walk in to the store and really do look up in wonder.

The chandelier had to compete with the Chinese version, so with good value engineering skills this was achieved.

Our experience in designing for manufacture and understanding about product quality and electrical regulations turned a problem into a success.

creating visual drama to engage customers.
