Guinness Surger
The brief was how to develop a deliver draught quality Guinness to small bars and restaurants which cannot justify a keg system.
The Surger controls the pint presentation with a simple push of the button to send an ultrasonic shockwave into the beer to create a perfect clean head to the beer.
The form factors emphasize the Guinness brand equity with an understated clarity.
The Surger has been designed for high volume production with a tight unit cost control. By using the CAD data directly, the tooling development time was reduced significantly, with the design, through prototyping, to pre-production samples completed in six months.
“good design is often about creating simplicity out of complexity”
